For visible tears, measure the size to determine if a DIY repair is feasible. Small tears, typically less than six inches in length, can often be repaired at home. Larger tears may require professional assistance.

Step 2: Gather Your Materials

For this repair, you’ll need:
– A vinyl repair kit (available at most pool supply stores).
– A clean cloth or sponge.
– Scissors.
– A pool-safe adhesive (included in repair kits).
– Optional: Masking tape for positioning patches.
These kits usually come with pre-cut vinyl patches and adhesive, but you can also cut custom patches from spare vinyl material.

Step 3: Clean the Area
