Concrete and plaster are some of the most used materials for inground pools because concrete is so durable, and plaster can be replaced if there is any damaged sustained. In most cases, even if you have chosen to have a different shaped pool, it shouldn’t change the cost which can be the case with other types of inground pools.
Fiberglass Pools
If you have chosen a fiberglass pool, the shell will be made and then delivered to your home. It will need to be set in the hole using a crane. You don’t have the option of choosing a customized design because they are made beforehand. If there are any steps into your pool, a spa or benches, they will be made prior to the pool getting delivered. You can plan on a fiberglass pool lasting around 10-15 years as it starts to deteriorate due to UV exposure.

Using glass tiles, stone, pebble aggregate or other materials you can add style to your pool with these beautiful finishing touches. You can plan on these types of materials lasting about 10 years.
